Beats/Instrumentals Lease

By purchasing any musical composition (the "Beat") from Victor Zee. (Producer), you agree to the following: 

  • Licensing: All purchases are licenses, not sales of the original copyright, unless an "Exclusive Rights" agreement is signed. Content ID: Licensee is strictly prohibited from registering any song containing the Beat with YouTube Content ID or Meta Rights Manager. 
  • Usage: Use is restricted to the specific terms of the license tier purchased (Basic vs. Unlimited). Exceeding stream or radio limits without an upgrade constitutes copyright infringement. 
  • Indemnification: You agree to hold Victor Zee. (Producer) harmless from any third-party claims arising from your use of the Beat, including unauthorized samples you may add to the work. 
  • Termination: Victor Zee. (Producer) reserves the right to terminate any license if the terms (specifically Content ID and Credit requirements) are violated. 
  • Technical Support vs. Mixing: > "Purchasing a Beat License entitles the user to the files as-is. Technical support is limited to download issues. If the Licensee requires the Producer to mix the vocals into the beat, this is a separate Mixing Service and must be purchased via the 'Services' page."

Content ID Registration & Premium Whitelisting

1. Content ID Activation : The Licensee acknowledges that the Beat is registered within the Content ID ecosystem (including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram) via the Licensor’s management team at Medyve Studios. This registration is maintained to protect the integrity of the Beat and to prevent unauthorized third-party claims by entities not associated with the Licensor. 

2. Premium Allowlisting Service : Upon purchase of a valid license, the Licensee is entitled to "Premium Allowlisting" (Whitelisting). This is a manual service provided by Medyve Studios to ensure the Licensee’s content is recognized as "Authorized" by automated scanning systems. 

Proactive Clearance: The Licensee may submit their YouTube Channel ID or specific video URL to Medyve Studios at the time of purchase to be added to our global "Allowlist," preventing automated claims before they occur. 

Monetization Protection: Allowlisting ensures that the Licensee—and only the Licensee—retains the right to monetize their derivative work without interference from the Producer’s Content ID settings. 

3. Dispute Handling for Non-Allowlisted Content : If the Licensee fails to request allowlisting prior to upload and receives a "Matched Third Party Content" notice, this is a standard system response. The Licensee agrees not to dispute the claim independently via the platform’s automated tool. Instead, the Licensee must contact Medyve Studios management to perform a Manual Release. 

4. Exclusivity of Rights : The right to register the Beat or the new recording in any Content ID system belongs exclusively to the Licensor. The Licensee is strictly prohibited from registering the Beat (or their song containing the Beat) with any Content ID provider (e.g., TuneCore, DistroKid, etc.), as this creates "ownership conflicts" that Medyve Studios will be required to legally override.

Shipping & Risk of Loss

  • Physical items are fulfilled and shipped via our global distribution partners. 
  • Shipping origins may vary depending on your location and stock availability. 
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or customs. Once the tracking shows "Delivered," the risk of loss passes to the customer. We recommend shipping to a secure location.

Project Delivery & Revisions

  • Turnaround Time: Standard turnaround is 72 hours per track. 
  • Revisions: Each mix/master includes unlimited rounds of revisions starting from the first delivery and lasting 7 days. 
  • Files: The client is responsible for providing high-quality, dry stems (no effects) in WAV format. We are not responsible for poor final results due to low-quality original recordings. 
  • Storage: We will host your final files for 90 days. Please download and back up your masters immediately.
